Coronavirus Preventative Measures

Dear Valued Patients,

As Coronavirus (COVID-19) remains a frequent topic of global news, we wanted to reassure you that Katy Advanced Ob/Gyn is watching the situation very closely. At this time, the CDC has reassured the public we are at a very low risk to contract COVID-19. However, Katy Advanced Ob/Gyn is in contact with the appropriate public health departments on a regular basis and has emergency communication protocol in place should the situation worsen. We will continue to monitor the CDC for additional information and guidance and will share information with you as needed.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

The following preventive measures should be taken to help reduce the spread of COVID-19:

. Stay home when you are sick.
. Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and help young children do the same. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
. Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
. Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
. Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. If you do not have a tissue, use your sleeve (not your hands).
